We can have your session in your backyard!

For clients who prefer a more intimate setting, backyard sessions are a great option.  We can even do part of the session indoors (this perfect for Winter sessions). Creating portraits of your most cherished memories in the comfort of your own home or yard is a very personal way to tell your story.

A fun factor for those who are really looking to get photos taken at a different place, this option is for you!  Non of my clients can have the same background, composition or lighting because each home and yard are unique.  I do love my go-to favorite locations, but it's exciting for me to switch it up and photograph your family in a setting unlike anyone else's.

Aside from being in a more comfortable setting that is uniquely yours.. having your session at home is very convenient for you and your family.  Does your toddler need a quick bathroom break?  Head inside!  Did your son get dirt on your dress from your his shoes while holding him?  We can easily grab a paper towel from the kitchen and clean it up before it really sets in.  And hellooooo you won't have to drive in traffic!!  I think that is a major win!  No need to stress about being late and I think that is super important.. the less stress the better!

When I think about my childhood memories, majority of them take place at home (or vacation home), so I can imagine how powerful these images will be to your kiddos when they are grown up.  Maybe down the line you'll move from your current house or apartment.  Having these photos will be an instant reminder of those sweet memories in your happy place you long to hold on to.
