That was Alyssa's Google Review from four years ago when I photographed her Engagement Session.  And now, I got to photograph an even more special milestone for her and her husband...  Their Maternity and Newborn session!

When I got the email I was over-the-moon excited for them and I was feeling so grateful that they wanted me to photograph this next big moment in their life.  It means everything to me when clients come back to me for all their special moments.. big and small.

For their Maternity Session we went to Kingsland Manor in Nutley, New Jersey.  This is one of my go-to locations and it was perfect for Alyssa and Justin because it's dog friendly and the Cherry Blossoms were in bloom.  Side note - be sure to ask a family member or friend to tag along to be on dog duty so we can take photos without them.  Thankful for Alyssa's mom and sister who helped out with the dogs at their session!

I knew from their Engagement Session that Justin is NOT into getting his photo taken.. this is pretty common for most guys but can't you tell from the photos below that he ended up having a good time!?  I promise I'll make sure the most reluctant people will have a great session with me ;)

As for my Newborn Sessions.. we put a tentative date on the calendar based on your due date and once your little one arrives we adjust as needed!  And we had to do just that for their Newborn Session.  Baby Boy came earlier than expected so we moved their date up!  He was 15 days new for his session.  He was a sweet, squishy, sleepy and cozy little babe.  And also.. check out his hair!  I think he might win for the best newborn hair.
