One thing is for sure.. children grow and change in a blink of an eye!  This is especially true in their first year of life.  So, when my clients reach out to schedule their son or daughter's First Birthday Portraits a year after their Newborn Session.. it makes my heart happy!  I am so excited for my clients to have these photos to see how much their little ones changed in just a year.

For the most part, I am an outdoor, on-location portrait photographer.  But, being I am a photographer that serves Bergen County and Essex County, New Jersey, the winter months can prove to be a challenge.  However, you may not think so at first but your home can be the perfect spot for your indoor - Winter portraits!

As a professional photographer for over eight years I can confidently walk into any home and find the best spots to create timeless, beautiful and meaningful portraits.  This particular client wanted to capture her son's first birthday photos in a clean, classic and simple way.  I brought over a white backdrop and the outcome is exactly what she envisioned!

This session was SO much fun and honestly, I love the simplicity of the set up.  No props needed.. just great light and a clean background.  Together we were able to capture both of her children just as she wants to remember them.  Their sweet smiles, silly relationship, chunky thighs and their love for sharing cake ;)
