Communion season is here!  It is one of the reasons why my calendar is so busy during the Spring and I love it!  Communion Sessions are a special way to document this milestone in your child's life.  These are 30 minute sessions with just your child at an outdoor location here in Bergen County, New Jersey.  We take advantage of the beautiful blooms New Jersey has to offer!

What I love about Communion Sessions is it's just focused on one child, giving them the time and space to shine!  Don't get me wrong, I love, love love my Family Portrait Sessions but for these particular photo sessions, it's all about him or her.

Your session takes place on a different day than the actual Communion day.  Why is that?  Because I know from first hand experience how crazy and stressful the day can be!  The morning rush of getting everyone in your family ready and getting to the church on time and then afterwards?  There is a swarm of family and friends outside of the church trying to get their iPhone photos in and you are now rushing to get photos done plus get to the party you worked so hard putting together at a local restaurant or venue.  After seven years of doing this, trust me.. you'll thank me later!  The upside of getting these photos done before your child's Communion day?  You get to have these beautiful images on display at the party and ready to send out Thank You cards!  Plus, you get another day out of your son's new suit and daughter's new dress!
