Welcome to the Part 2 blog post of 4... SPRING SESSIONS!
I hope you enjoyed Part 1 that was all about Winter Sessions with Rhiannon Livardo Photography. If you missed it, head to this link to read it!
April-mid June may be one of my favorite times of year for outdoor portrait sessions. How come? For me it's the most exciting time.. after a few months of cold, snow and dreary days.. New Jersey comes alive with green grass, flowers, trees filled with leaves, birds chirping, baseball (let's go Mets!), light jackets, dresses and so much more!
During the Winter don't you just feel like staying inside as much as you can to pretty much hibernate? Once Spring comes around we are all so excited to get outside!
What would make you want to schedule your portrait session during these particular months? It's the perfect temperature; not too cold, not too hot. And the sun sets at a pretty reasonable time so your little ones schedule won't be disturbed by your Golden Hour session! Also, if you love pastels.. this is always my favorite time to incorporate those colors when putting together my client's outfits!
There are endless amount of session locations with beautiful backgrounds that time of year.. cherry blossoms, tulips, parks or even your backyard with lush green grass.
You may think it's a little far out in advance to schedule your session for this Spring but I promise you it's not! My process - including the initial inquiry, planning and prepping, getting to know you questionnaires, curating your outfits all take time. It's important that neither you or I feel rushed when preparing for your session. There is plenty of guidance to ensure you are relaxed and ready for your session! Last minute inquiries are nearly impossible to accommodate, unfortunately.
If you are drawn and are falling in love with the photos you see below.. now is the time to book! My calendar for April-June is already starting to fill up so don't put it off until the last minute. Don't let those magical Spring evenings hanging out and loving on your your family (all the while getting those moments professionally captured) slip through your fingertips! <3
