Welcome to the blog of the most a smiley newborn baby!  This little guy gave us so many little smiles and smirks.. it was such a bonus!

As you have probably seen and read, my newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home.  Some clients express their worry about the size of the rooms we might use and the amount of natural light that their home has.  But, listen.. I got you!  I can guarantee you that I can make anything work.  This is what I do, what I specialize in.

For this sweet session we basically used one room, one light source... Baby boy's nursery.  This single light source created a variety of images for this family that you can see below.  Different angles and positioning is key!  I shoot from above, close ups, using direct light with the family facing the window, side lighting, even a partial silhouette.  Oh and of course I got so excited incorporating the mirror in the baby's nursery for a portrait, too!

I understand your worry about the lighting in your home, but as an experienced professional photographer I am going to make sure we utilize the space and available light to the best of my ability that will give you a stunning gallery of images.
