Meet Julia & Pete! Back in November of 2019 when Julia texted me photos of her ring the night they got engaged, I screamed! I was so excited for her and I had a feeling I'd be seeing her soon for an Engagement Session ;) Julia and I have been friends for sixteen years, (maybe more) so this session has a special place in my heart.
Even though I've known Julia for a long time, this was the first time I got to meet her fiance, Pete. Whether you're a dad during a Family Session or a fiance during an Engagement session, 99.9% of the time, you are dreading taking photos. I get it! It's not easy being put on the spot with a giant camera pointed in front of you, being in a public place, and not knowing the person whose taking these portraits of you. But, it is always my number one priority to make each session fun! And, we definitely had fun at their session! Sometimes, I have to pull out the silly noises I make during a Family Session for shoots like these to break the ice a bit and it totally works!
One of the continuous jokes of the session was them being photographed in this public park with people walking or riding their bikes all over the place. So, at one point Pete just started waving to the passing strangers.. I was laughing so much!
