There are many ways clients find me.. Google, social media and word of mouth.  But because I grew up in a small town, a lot of my clients are families who have known me since I was a kid/teenager or even when I was in diapers.  This beautiful Newborn Session was with someone who I’ve known and went to school with since the fifth grade! It’s really cool being able to document so many milestones for people I’ve known since I was young.  Little Chloe was the sweetest little babe and such a joy to photograph.

When I stepped into their home I was so excited about all the natural light!  I can handle photographing in any home with any lighting situation but when the options are endless it makes the session all the more seamless.

Everyone's homes are different when it comes to lighting, decor and space. The differences keep me on my toes and truly make each session true to that specific families story.  And I love being able to find unique and creative elements to incorporate at my Newborn Sessions.  So when I noticed the reflections in their dining room table, I had to use it!

Fun fact: when we were about 11, I wore glasses and after swimming in Kelly’s pool I had them off for whatever reason and walked straight into their screen door knocking it right off it’s hinges.. I’m pretty sure that was the deciding factor to get contacts!
