I had the opportunity to photograph the DiCarlo's when I was participating in The Front Steps Project in the Spring.  Donna is one of the selfless and amazing nurses who works at Holy Name (where the donations were going to).  When she contacted me to schedule a Beach Session, I was SO excited!

They were vacationing down the shore in Point Pleasant so they wanted to take advantage while they were there to get family portraits taken.  Beach Sessions take place during the week and about an hour before sunset.  That way, the beach isn't overwhelmingly crowded and the light is beautiful & magical.

We had a blast between playing in the sand, walking the boardwalk and even dipping our toes in the water.  If you're a family or couple that loves the beach, it's natural for the session to be laid back and fun.  There is so much for the kids to explore and run around!  And, I think being by the water eases everyone's nerves.  I know for me it does!
