Have I mentioned before how amazing it is to photograph the same families year after year?  Well.. I'm here to talk about it some more!  I have been photographing this amazing family for three years now.. four sessions total with a fifth scheduled for the Fall (quick reminder that Fall sessions book fast.. it's important that you book in advance!).

It's amazing to build friendships through my photography and it's humbling to be asked to photograph the big milestones and all the in between.  It's important that I build trust with every single person I photograph.. these memories are so important to you and I want to make sure we capture those precious moments in a fun, seamless, stress-free way.

Being that this family has worked with me in the past, they were prepared for how I work and what to expect.  As for new parents and clients, there is one thing I can promise that you won't have to worry about.  And that's the lighting in your home!  No matter the size of your home or apartment, I will scope out every room and find the best light and use it to our advantage.  If we need to move some things out of the way, that's no problem!  It's common that you may want to turn all the lights on when I come over but those overhead lights (for the most part) will create a color cast and some uneven lighting and shadows that don't photograph well.  Natural light is my specialty.. that is what you see here in my portfolio.  You may not notice the beauty in the light coming through your living room that will enhance the close-up detail shots I envision.. but once you see your gallery, I know you'll be surprised what we created together!
